Montana Living Treasures

A six part series aired on Yellowstone Public Radio
There are many hidden treasures all around us. Some of the most valuable are people who preserve the traditions of the past for future generations. Every cultural community in Montana has a store of wisdom, stories, song, dance, cuisine and artistic traditions that give it a distinct identity. These things are not usually taught in school. They are learned informally - by example. Collectively, these traditions are called Folklife. These programs feature Montanans who have exceptional knowledge of the Folk Traditions of their people.
