Grants

Fee support for Artists in Schools and Communities Residencies and Special Projects

Any person, association, group, or governmental agency may apply for Cultural & Aesthetic Project Grants.

Public Value Partnerships provide operating support grants for Montana non-profit arts organizations.

Strategic Investment Grants for the Arts provide up to $1,000 in matching funds to professional artists, nonprofit 501(c)(3) arts organizations and Pre K–12 teachers in Montana

The Governor's Arts Awards program honors outstanding citizens and organizations in Montana whose achievements in the arts benefit all Montanans.

Resources for Arts Organizations – Includes Webinars, Workshops, Health Care Tax Credit information and current Tax and Reporting information for Arts Organizations.

The Arts Education Artist Registry lists professional working artists and local or regional arts organizations (touring or locally based) available for community and school residencies.

To join the Arts Education Artist Registry one must be a practicing artist working within one's craft on a professional level, with substantial experience working in arts education, or an arts organization offering fully developed workshops for children or adults.

State of the Arts is published six times a year by the Montana Arts Council. Montanans can receive the newspaper for free.
