Grants
Fee support for Artists in Schools and Communities Residencies
Any person, association, group, or governmental agency may apply for Cultural & Aesthetic Project Grants.
Opportunity Grants are given throughout the year to enable the council to respond to artists' or organization' opportunities or emergencies.
Professional Development Grants are given throughout the year to enable the council to respond to artists', organizations' or teachers' professional development needs.
Public Value Partnerships provide operating support grants for Montana non-profit arts organizations.

The Arts Education Artist Registry lists professional working artists available for community and school residencies.
To join the Arts Education Artist Registry one must be a practicing artist working within one's craft on a professional level, with substantial experience working in arts education, or an arts organization offering fully developed workshops for children or adults.
State of the Arts is published six times a year by the Montana Arts Council. Montanans can receive the newspaper for free.
