Learning from Montana Arts Organizations

These publications, written by Louise K. Stevens, chronicle audience development strategies undertaken by seven Montana arts organizations while participating in a major audience development initiative of the Montana Arts Council. The initiative was funded by the Wallace Foundation and these publications serve as a model for arts organizations all across rural America.

Compiled by John Barsness of Montana Arts for the Montana Arts Council, this publication offers a snapshot of more than seventy successful special events, annual fund drives, membership drives, capital campaigns and sponsorships mounted by arts organizations all across the country.
