"State of the Arts" is a service of the Montana Arts Council designed to provide timely information about the arts in Montana to artists and organizations.

 

To receive the next quarterly newspaper or update current information, complete the form below.

 

State of the Arts is provided free of charge when mailed to a Montana address. Out-of-state residents must send an annual $15 subscription fee.

These publications, written by Louise K. Stevens, chronicle audience development strategies undertaken by seven Montana arts organizations while participating in a major audience development initiative of the Montana Arts Council. The initiative was funded by the Wallace Foundation and these publications serve as a model for arts organizations all across rural America.
