CARES

The Montana Arts Council (MAC) has concluded COVID-19 emergency funding to offset losses and encourage continued creative efforts available through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. MAC awarded funds to nonprofit organizations, artists, and cultural workers in Montana with funds were made available through the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) as part of the CARES Act.

Individuals

Montana CARES Individuals awarded up to $2,500 to professional artists impacted by COVID-19. To review the guidelines please CLICK HERE

Recovery

Montana CARES Recovery provided up to $1,000 to nonprofit organizations and professional artists that suffered losses from canceled opportunities.To review the guidelines please CLICK HERE

Partners

Through Montana CARES Partners, recent grantees of the MAC Public Value Partnership received up to $3,000 to stabilize their on-going public service. CARES Partners grantees were provided the opportunity to submit an amended budget and were awarded an additional $3,000.
